Arya self describes herself as a human being who exists as a transgender woman | who loves as a lesbian and who fights as a feminist. Her main occupation in life is being a parent to an awesome nonbinary human being and other occupations include doing communications for Eastern Africa’s only indigenous funder for LGBTIQ rights. She has in the past worked in a campaign for decolonising the internet for the ownership of the minoritised majority of the world and also worked as a feminist investigative journalist with openDemocracy.
